Our Group is engaged in a wide range of business activities to realize the goals outlined in SHIMZ VISION 2030 (the Long-Term Vision)—a resilient society where everyone can feel safe and secure; an inclusive society where all people can live together in comfort and health; and a sustainable society where future generations can inherit a well-cared for environment. As part of this initiative, we plan to launch the Shiomi Innovation Center (tentative name) in FY2023 in Shiomi, Koto-ku, Tokyo, with the aim of driving innovation in business structure, technology, and talent. To finance the construction of this project, we have decided to issue a スポーツベットとは bond. The facility complex, which will serve as a hub for open innovation and human resource development, will consist of a main building for information dissemination, a research facility aimed at production innovation in areas such as construction robotics, structures, and materials, a hands-on training facility for monozukuri (craftsmanship), a historical archives and museum display, and the Former Shibusawa Residence. The Former Shibusawa Residence was originally designed and constructed by Kisuke Shimizu II, the second head of our founding family. After being relocated to Rokunohe Town in Aomori Prefecture, it was transferred back to us and reconstructed on this site for preservation. Through the issuance and use of this スポーツベットとは bond, we aim to demonstrate our ESG-driven business approach and initiatives to a wide range of stakeholders. Going forward, we remain committed to contributing to the realization of a sustainable future society where people can experience richness and well-being.
